She Walked in Beauty
She walked in beauty thru this world,
From her earliest time as just a girl.
Her sweet grace and purest smile,
Could charm a stranger, without guile.
Her lilting voice, her charming laughter,
Would thrill each one, who her sought after.
Her grace was real, no fault could find,
Within her heart or in her mind.
She bore a bunch of children, nine in all,
Was always there when one would fall.
Each child would smile and call her blest,
She ne'er chose one above the rest.
Most fortunate and lucky was her mate
For always there, she was, and never late.
She's left this mortal coil behind,
Exchanged it for a better kind.
And those so lucky, that she showed love,
Rest in comfort now, for she's above.
She walked in beauty, life could nae her harden,
And now she's tending her Master's garden.
